Mizan Therapy for Men

If you are a man and interested in receiving Mizan treatment, please get in touch with your nearest therapist. All Mizan practitioners are qualified to work on men, although not every female practitioner wants to approach this sensitive and personal area on men that they do not know personally or through a female client referral.

Although men (obviously!) do not have a uterus, they benefit greatly from increased blood supply to the pelvic region.

Mizan Therapy for Men

Prostate

Because Mizan Therapy brings new, oxygen-rich blood to the pelvic bowl, it can help to prevent congestion, swelling and inflammation to the prostate. The prostate gland is just behind and below the bladder and if it becomes congested can lead to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostatis, frequent urination.

Fertility

Depending on the cause, Mizan can also help with erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and impotency. It can help to improve the quantity and the quality of sperm, particularly in conjunction with dietary and lifestyle changes and herbal support.

Digestive problems

Digestive disorders can have a physical or emotional basis – often they go hand in hand and it’s impossible to say which came first. Many men are leading stressful lives and their digestive system suffers. Mizan Therapy can really help with this – and treats the cause rather than massing the symptoms as with taking medication.

Mizan Practitioners use a deep massage on the upper abdomen to relax the diaphragm and tightened muscles around the stomach. This improves the blood supply to the whole digestive system, helping with digestion of food and speeding waste through the system to be eliminated easily.

Mizan may help with:

  • Indigestion
  • Heartburn
  • Constipation
  • IBS
